Dear Old Spice,
For as long as I can remember I have used your brand of deodorant. Recently I began to notice I was buying it sooner and sooner. It didn't seem to last as long. But I was getting what I thought to be a great deal because you would package two sticks together. Two for the price of one! YAY!!! This morning things changed. I decided, after opening a brand new stick, to see how much I was actually getting in this contraption and I was shocked. This stick has not been used at all and it is already almost halfway empty. No wonder you are selling two for one. I am barely getting one full stick! I feel as if I have been ripped off for many years. Is this a dirty, evil, no good trick that all of the deodorant companies have developed or are you seriously getting people to purchase deodorant that is halfway gone? If you would like to make this right, please send me the rest of the hundreds of the sticks of your deodorant I have used over the years. Thanks, Steven Last night we had our teen devotional after worship. I had planned to talk about overcoming things that hold us back. We looked at Paul in 2nd Corinthians and his list of the many things he had gone through. Most of these things could have been great excuses for him to give up. They could have held him back. If you look through Philippians though you see that he never let those things hold him back. He continued to do what he needed to do.
Just before I started the devotional I noticed the socks I was wearing and began to think about a T-Rex and his little bitty arms. He could have let his small arms hold him back but didn't. He found ways to get around those cute little arms and do what needed to be done. What is holding you back? I am pretty excited about my picks for this week. Still two uncertain games left. Football is more fun when you cheer for teams you've never cared for before! Today was my first pep rally at Hamilton. It was pretty fun. Can't wait for the big game tonight against Winfield. Pictures from game will be on the Aggie Sports page on Monday. Check back soon!
Everyone was asking Becca if they could borrow her purse. She told everyone no until I asked her. That's what best friends are for!
