It's been a long weekend. I'm proud of all of our kids who were a part of Lads to Leaders this year. Now, as I sit in Cracker Barrel waiting for lunch, I am thankful for sweet tea. I think I may need a steady stream of coffee running through me today. Is there a doctor in the house? Yes, yes there is. Until Sunday, I will probably not be outside but I will not notice it. This hotel is pretty much a small city. Heres something to remember though: The mall is not Opryland. The hotel is not Opryland. Opryland was the home of the Wabash Cannonball, Rockin Roller Coaster, and the Chaos. it was fun. Now you can go there and buy overpriced stuff in the mall. Yay!
Today and tomorrow the Opryland Hotel will be swarmed with a few thousand young people and families who will be participating in the Lads to Leaders program. There will also be conventions going on in numerous other places throughout the country. Please keep all the travelers in your prayers. I knew when I was going to the laundromat this morning I would find something that would make a great picture of the day. I stumbled across this beauty on the bulletin board. Too bad spell check doesn't work on hand written notes.
I didn't know what an appropriate picture would be for tax day so I went with this. Use your imagination and guess what it is.
It's technically tomorrow and I missed a day of a picture but I haven't gone to sleep yet so it still counts. I get to watch the Braves after I know they won. First time to see them this year. Yay!
