Tonight I decided to try my luck at making spaghetti. Not the open a jar and pour it over noodles kind, but the really make the sauce yourself stuff. I think I did well.

Seven years ago I asked Kaycee to be my wife. Thankfully, she said yes.
{This picture is an old picture and is one of my favorites.} I am really excited about the series I am starting with our teens. We are going to be looking at the top 10 least read books in the Bible.
We all have our favorite books that we read all of the time, but what about the books that we never hear from. How often do we preach sermons from Habakkuk, Nahum, Zepheniah, or even 2nd Corinthians? These are all a part of the inspired word of God and all have valuable information for us. God wouldn't have given them to us if it wasn't so. It was raining when I left the office today and I was a little cool. It seemed like the perfect time for afternoon coffee.
As you might have already seen, I am starting grad school soon. I have bought notebooks and tonight Kaycee came home with the Alabama journal for me. I love her :)
Kaycee and I went on an end of summer date today. We had Olive Garden and some shopping. Most importantly, we went to Aldi. Kaycee is happy. :)
One of my favorite songs is Bittersweet Symphony. Today, for me, was a bittersweet day.
As of today the Summers activities are officially completed. On one hand, it is sad because I love all of the trips and activities I get to be on with the young people. On the other, I like my rest too. It called for a celebration with a $1.00 sweet tea from Mickey D's! Still at SEC and loving every minute of it. Now I am really looking forward to RUSH and Exposure Youth Camp.
