This was an amazing week. We spent most of it in Henderson, Tennessee at Fred-Hardeman University for their lectureships. Although I did not graduate from there, I claim it as my school. I am thankful for my time there and the things I learned.
Let's get real though, when I go back to FHU, I am worried about the 3 B's. Bell's, Bill's, and Besso's. This trip didn't take me to Besso's, which is the fancy coffee shop in town, or to Bill's, which is the best BBQ you can imagine (Not even Memphis can match up to Bill's) although I did get Bill's at a youth minister's luncheon!
It is possible to miss out on Bill's and Besso's, but never Bell's. I considered asking in the open forum if it would be possible to get to heaven if you were in Henderson and did not eat at Bell's. I chose not to. Sometimes you just know the answer without asking...
If you ever are in Henderson, Tennessee, find Bell's. If you can't find it, look for someone on FHU's campus and ask them to point you in the right direction. You will not be sorry.
